Antares Ensemble

This dynamite quartet keeps piling up rave reviews from major cities and has just received an ASCAP Award in Adventuresome Programming. Violin, cello, piano and clarinet make for some interesting combinations and music we don't get to hear every day. Messiaen's "Quartet for the End of Time" will also be on the program.

This multinational quartet, working under the mentorship of the Tokyo and Vermeer String Quartets, has quickly become one of America's leading young ensembles, winning numerous prizes. Mr Meglioranza will sing Samuel Barber's "Dover Beach".

Particularly noted for his performances of baroque music, he has been a featured soloist with numerous ensembles and also champions contemporary music.
