About Newtown Friends of Music
Since 1978, Newtown Friends of Music has brought the joy of live classical chamber music to the heart of Newtown, Connecticut. Nestled in the picturesque Fairfield County, Newtown is known for its rich history, vibrant arts community, and warm, welcoming atmosphere. Our concerts take place in the acoustically exceptional auditorium of Edmond Town Hall, a cherished local landmark located at 45 Main Street, Newtown, CT. Whether you're drawn to the refined artistry of chamber music or the excitement of sports betting in Connecticut—another popular local pastime—our town offers diverse ways to enjoy your leisure time.

- Scholarships: Since 2010, we’ve supported graduating Newtown high school seniors pursuing music at the university level.
