Resident String Quartet at Indiana State University, and celebrating its 17th season, The Euclid enjoys a stellar reputation as a chamber ensemble. Its members hail from Great Britain, China, Venezuela and the US. Awarded the String Quartet Fellowship of the Aspen Music Festival, they were invited to study with the Emerson String Quartet at the Carnegie Hall Training Workshop. They were the first American quartet to be awarded a top prize at the prestigious Osaka International Chamber Music Competition, and were awarded the esteemed “American Masterpieces” grant from the National Endowment of the Arts.
