Firmly in the forefront of international chamber music, the Los Angeles Times states “This is, no question, one of the best groups in the world, a great string quartet.” Now celebrating its 20th year performing stellar chamber music from Amsterdam to Carnegie Hall, this Munich-based ensemble is known for its motto “You should always play as if your life depended on it.” Winners of the Preis der Deutschen Schallplatten Kritik and IMW’s CD of the year, we are fortunate and thrilled to welcome them to Newtown.
